MEASLES

Introduction:

                    Measles is a highly contagious infectious disease caused by the measles virus.

Symptoms:

  1. High fever
  2. cough
  3. runny nose
  4. watery eyes
  5. Rash

Complications:

  1. Middle ear infection
  2. Infection of the lungs(pneumonia)
  3. Infection of the upper airway with trouble breathing and cough(croup)
  4. Diarrhea
  5. Infection of the brain

Diagnosis:

                Laboratory tests and tissue tests can provide you with a diagnosis of malaria

Treatment: 

                 It is a viral infection and it has no treatment and it will run its course.

Prevention:

                 Getting yourself vaccinated is the best way to prevent measles.
